Here by the pool, it's almost as though the chaos isn't happening around them outside.
He shrugs out of his shirt, folding it up. ]

[ Sorry Tech, but Ava wasn't listening to a word you were saying about what it means to be your engineer. She doesn't possess the attention span for that right now (which probably means she doesn't have the attention span to be an engineer either).
By the pool, she raises a brow at him laying down the law, but she doesn't argue, accepting his challenge. ]
God has spoken. [ She snorts as she lifts her shirt over her head and drops it on the floor, just as she notices what he's doing with his. ] Are you folding? [ Who folds before skinnydipping? ]
You're a strange one. [ She means that the nicest way possible. ] Do you want mine to fold too?
[ Her bra comes off and she holds it out to him. ]
[ He doesn't even realize he's doing anything abnormal until she's calling him out just as he's setting the shirt on a bench nearby. Tech frowns with mild indignation. ]
Clothes aren't exactly easy to come by now that we're out of Mammon's domain. Maybe you oughta take care of yours.
[ He eyes the puddle of her shirt and follows it back up to her exposed breasts and the bra she's extended toward him. Goddamn. Tech lets out a breath as he takes it from her, dropping it on top of her shirt. ]
On second thought, don't have any fucking complaints if you run out of clothes and have to strut around naked. There's lots of pervs here, though. So you'd be better sticking around me.
[ He grins, easing out of his pants and making a point to fold those too, adding them neatly to the bench with his shirt. Before he removes his boxers though (because he's still trying to give his boner a little time to die down), he looks at her -- keeping eyes above the shoulders for the time being. ]
Hey. Weird question, but...apparently the longer you're in this place, the more it corrupts you. Like, people start changing into fucking demons. Physically. You think the halo would prevent that from happening to you?
[ It would be such a shame if demonic features spoiled the sheer perfection of her body as it is now. Even the rounded scar on her back is something he's become fond of. ]

She's down to one piece of underwear a lot quicker than he is because of all his folding, almost waiting for him to catch up. She doesn't expect the conversation to take the direction it does, this being the first she's heard of demonic changes. Thankfully the drugs in her system prevent her from taking the news too badly. She soon cheers up though, full of too much energy to feel negative for long. ] Would you still like me with a tail? [ With her back facing him, she slides her underwear down, showing him exactly where the demon tail would go if she ever grew one.
Learning her lesson from the last time she jumped in a pool on a whim, she sits down at the edge before slipping into the water. She settles her arms over the side of the pool, rests her chin on top and looks up at him with an easy smile. ]
I probably shouldn't become what I'm meant to kill. [ But that's not going to stop her from having fun with Tech. ]
