[ Monika sets her phone down after giggling at it. This was what it felt like to be a teenager, huh? Hours long conversations, talking about nothing and everything...to think she'd been missing out on it.
But though she'd love to continue, sleep is calling. It'd been coming a little easier these days, which was nice, but it was still a struggle to give in to willingly walking into the void 2.0. At least she'd have something to look forward to when she woke back up...
After switching a nightlight on and the lamp off, she settles into bed, quickly drifting off since she'd stayed up far later than she probably should've. But hey, the sooner she got through this? The better. ]

[ The repeated trill of the notifications begins to leak into her dream. Which had been a nice one, for once. The last two pull her out of it completely, and she blinks blearily at the ceiling, frowning deeply.
Pushing out a sigh, she blindly grabs for her phone and holds it up to her face, squinting at the screen. ]

[ That definitely gets her up, her arms flailing as she struggles to make sense of what's going on. After realizing her alarm's going off--an alarm she doesn't remember setting--she shuts it off, breathing heavily as her heart calms down. Then she sees the message.

Glaring at the screen, she holds down the power button and shuts the phone off. After placing it back on the nightstand, she stares hard at it in the dim light, just waiting for something to happen. She'd love to have a reason to be more annoyed. ]
